A Partner of Einbinder & Dunn, Julianne Cowan Lusthaus has been practicing law since 1996. She is an active member of the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising, the International Franchise Association, the New York State Bar Association, the Westchester Women's Bar Association and the Brooklyn Women's Bar Association.

Lusthaus has been asked to share her insights in the area of franchise law multiple times for the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising, the New York State Bar Association, at the International Franchise Association Legal Symposium and in videos and podcasts for the website All Business.

Much of her practice involves representation of women franchise owners in New York and nationwide. She understands the issues that affect women business owners and has earned a reputation as a forceful advocate for women.

Einbinder & Dunn recently prevailed on behalf of a former franchisee in the child care industry. The Franchisor sought to enforce a noncompetition agreement and the court ruled that the Franchisor failed to establish irreparable harm or the public interest element of its injunction application and denied the motion.
