Franchising 101: Are You Ready to Franchise Your Existing Business?
A Free Seminar to Be Held June 9, 2010
New York, NY–NYC Business Solutions and the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the seminar “Franchising 101: Are You Ready to Franchise Your Existing Business?” The seminar will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 from 9AM to 11AM at NYC Business Solutions, Lower Manhattan Center at 110 William Street, 4th Floor, New York, NY.
Franchisors and potential franchisors will learn:
- If their business has the potential to franchise
- Can they teach their business plan to others?
- Does their business have national appeal?
- The importance of branding before they expand
- How to select the right franchisees
- The legal and accounting requirements for franchising their business
Featured speakers will include some of the most recognized individuals in franchising. They include:

The seminar is the second in a series on franchising. The highly successful initial seminar, “How to Buy Your First Franchise or Grow the One You Have” which spoke to the challenges facing existing and potential franchisees, was held February 17, 2010 and attracted nearly 100 participants. The series sponsors intend to run such events on a quarterly basis, alternating between those issues affecting franchisees and those affecting franchisors.
