Matthew L. Holden

Matthew L. Holden, is Of Counsel to Einbinder & Dunn. As a skilled business attorney, Matthew has more than fifteen years of experience in successfully meeting the legal needs of businesses, entrepreneurs, and high net worth individuals. Matthew represents developers, borrowers, lenders, and other entities in large-scale commercial real estate transactions related to retail, office, multifamily, hotel, condominium, and industrial spaces. He also provides counsel in complex corporate transactions and disputes. His clients include startups, emerging companies, family offices and Fortune 500 companies. Matthew’s mission is to bring world-class legal representation to businesses and individuals with boutique pricing and personalized client service.
Previously, Matthew practiced corporate and securities law at the international law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York and also served as in-house counsel at Ospraie Management, LLC, the investment manager for the Ospraie Funds. At Ospraie, Matthew handled corporate, hedge fund, securities and real estate related matters. Before attending law school, Matthew began his career as an investment banker with Lehman Brothers Inc. in New York.
Matthew has been an active member of the New York and New Jersey Bar Associations since 2006. He is an active member of the Forbes Business Council in New York and contributes monthly articles to Forbes on various practice topics including commercial real estate and corporate law. Matthew served as a Board Member of Temple Emanu-El in Closter, New Jersey for 2 years and 6 years as President of the Board of Directors of the Sea Farm North Homeowners Association, Inc. in Bridgehampton, New York where he and his wife own a second residence. Matthew is an avid tennis player and golfer and enjoys spending his free time with his wife, two daughters and Labrador retriever, Ginger.
